Angie and her half-sister, Heidi, visit Gonny’s mansion, known as the Royal Manor, to celebrate Gonny’s birthday. Upon arrival, they find no other guests present. Gonny leads them to a hidden seance room in the basement, where she initiates a ritual. During the seance, Angie and Gonny experience an astral projection, leaving Heidi asleep. They encounter a mysterious trial presided over by a sorcerer lizard, who declares the defendant guilty and causes a planet to explode. The shockwave returns Angie and Gonny to their bodies. Distrusting Gonny, Angie decides to leave, but Heidi insists on staying. Angie attempts to depart in Heidi’s car, but it fails to start, forcing her to spend the night in the vehicle. Heidi finds Angie curled up in a fetal position inside the car the next morning, expressing her disgust at the situation.
